Thank you very much

When one is making a video that is supposed to be in a certain mood and pace, one will be surprised of how hard it is to find some quality music that doesn't get your video pulled for copyright infringement.
So when I found myself in the situation that I was in need of some upbeat creative commons music, I immediately turned to Newgrounds. But no matter the search terms I just couldn't find THE song.

That's when I remembered you. I have always been a fan of your music, especially the Rose series, and I figured that you of all artists would have something fitting.
I could not have been more right. I fell in love with this piece of music right from the beginning, and at the epic break to Dearly Beloved at 02:42 I knew I had found my soundtrack.

Thanks to you, my video went from alright to pretty darn cool. People are already asking me about the music, and I can proudly redirect them here.

Thank you for making incredibly awesome music.

NemesisTheory responds:

This is such an inspiring review! Thank you for taking the time to write this.

I'm really flattered to hear I made such an impact on you, to have reminded me like that. I'm just happy the music fit your video as it did. <3

Thank you for the incredibly awesome review. ;)

Impressive

This is a truly magnificent piece, I really enjoy listening to it :D

However, I do think that it in some parts resembles robomanus' "Justice Day" somewhat. Not a very lot, but enough for one to notice (if one knew the other piece, that is).
It doesn't make it any less brilliant though :)

EvilRaccoon responds:

Hey AtokNiiro, thats because Justice Day was a part of the same contest, it was a theme created by Nathan Allen Pinard, the contest was to create a piece of music around the theme.

:)

Epic...

Being a huge fan of the music of Pirates of the Caribbean, I was really sceptical, when I found this piece while checking the classical section.
At first I feared that it was just a nooby attempt, but it positively surprised me.

The first thing that amazed me was the length - 11 minutes. That's not something, you see every day here on NG. Second, I was amazed of how well you made it sound like the original music, and how it had the same epic feeling.
My favourite track of the PotC soundtracks is One Last Shot (I recognized it immediately at 6:00), and when the epic climax began at 8:45 it sent shivers down my spine, like when I am listening to the original music.

Good job on this. I can tell that you really put an effort into it.

Thank you for making this!

So there I was, searching for a piece of music for this Mirror's Edge style parkour animation, I am working on. I didn't want to use Still Alive from the game, but rather I wanted to find something that had the sound of Mirror's Edge, but which still was different from Still Alive.
Listening to the remixes on NG, I was almost giving up - when I stumbled upon this track. During the intro I began to think that I had found the right track - and when it really got started, there could be no doubt.

This track is, without comparison, the best remix of Still Alive, I have ever heard. Even though it is most original, it is still faithful to Still Alive, and the tune is so catchy, that I could listen to it for ages without becoming tired of it.
I wish I could say something constructive, but in my ears this track is perfect.

I would really like to use this music in an animation, I am working on at the moment, and I will probably cut in the music for it to fit the length of the animation. I just wanted to ask for your permission first.
So, can I use this music in my animation?

NemesisTheory responds:

Wow, thanks a lot for those kind words! It really means a lot!! :D

Ofcourse you can use it!
I dont mind if people use my music for anything, they dont really have to ask, but it's kind of cool that they do. XD

so thanks again for all the kind words!! :DD

Incredible!

I love your music. What else can I say?
Omg, I tried playing all six parts of the suite simultaneous, and it sounded great!

Awesome!!

I love this piece of music.
I could sit and listen to it for hours, and I would never get tired of it.
Seriously, of all music, I have ever heard, this is my favourite.

I find inspiration for animations by listening to this music.

cycerin responds:

Great to hear. Thanks alot for the review! :D

Epic

This sounds really epic.
When I listen to it, I get an association of a hero walking towards the final showdown with his enemy, which ends all of a sudden with a huge blast, and then - long death scene.
It is really inspiring me.

Really funny

Lol, the similtarities with the original song makes it even more fun.
..except the ones who are banned lololol

sonicmega responds:

You know it's true. The funny posts are pure glee for the unbanned posters because they're able to respond, but the banned members can't do anything about it to be part of the action. That's perhaps the worst torture about being banned XD
